>>Men's Cufflink Styles
Choice in mens cufflinks is extremely varied, allowing you to find the right style for the occasion. Classic cufflinks for men are versatile with a simplicity of design, typically available in one colour or just chrome. Fashion cufflinks have a trendy and contemporary design, available from the respected Fashion Houses such as HUGO BOSS. If you are looking for a colourful or intricately designed pair of cufflinks, then take a look at the enamel cufflinks which provide rich colours (Duchamp are well known for their enamel designs). Precious cufflinks offer that extra bit of sparkle for a special occasion such as weddings or graduations. Semi-precious stones such as onyx, mother of pearl and haematite offer an understated elegance, whilst Swarovski crystal is the ultimate in glitz and glamour. >> Types of Cufflink fasteners
Most contemporary designer cufflinks for men use a torpedo design (also known as the push through) which consists of a decorative side and a plain clip on the other side. The cufflink is pushed through the button holes, and the clip is twisted to lock it in place. More traditional men's cufflinks feature two equal studs connected by a chain. Both sides of the cufflink can be presented.
>> How to put on Cufflinks
With your shirt on, pinch the cuffs of your sleeve together. Insert the Cufflink through both holes in the shirt's cuff. The coloured part of the Cufflink (usually black or ivory), should face the outside when your arm is at your side. On the backside of the cuff, flip the bar to hold the designer cufflink in place. |
