Materials Used in Knomo Bags
- Leather is made from genuine, carefully selected cow hide leather from top quality tanneries around the world. The leather has been treated with a protective coating to resist water and minor scratches. Regular conditioning of the leather will enhance the durability and maintain a lustrous shine over time.
- Fabrics used in Knomo bags are specially treated to resist water and stains, which makes them easier to clean. All fabric bags have leather handles, seams and re-enforced bottom to provide support and maintain structure.
The Knomo Story
Knomo’s founder, Howard, began with the idea that functional bags should also look the part. This occurred to him when someone picked up his bag at Heathrow airport, mistaking it for his own. Howard concluded that most functional bags were boring and looked the same, so he set out to make a fashionable and functional bag with personality. It was also imperative that a Knomo bag satisfied the modern consumers technological needs (i.e. the need to carry a laptop, pda, ipod etc). Knomo began to manufacture bags you wanted to caryy, not bags you had to carry. |
