Simon Carter is known as the ‘King of Cufflinks’ and all designs are exclusive to him. All cufflinks have a 5 year guarantee which covers all defects. In order to create colour, Simon Carter uses glass fibre, enamel and crystal. The cats eye cufflinks use microfilaments of glass fibre, more commonly used in the fibre-optic industry. Simon Carter Cufflinks often use semi-precious stones such as mother of pearl, onyx, Haematite and Paua Shell. All cufflinks use a silver coloured plating called Dorium which is a very hard wearing alloy which is chip resistant and doesn’t tarnish.
Simon Carter has a range of luxury mens leather wallets which appear quite classic, but all feature a unique comic strip lining and the occasional cinnamon colour detail.

How Simon Carter began
Simon Carter may be regarded as the ‘King of Cufflinks’ but the designer and founder of the renowned accessories and menswear label began his career very differently. Raised in East Anglia, Simon came to London to study immunology at Chelsea College in the early 1980s but found he was drawn more towards the glitter and glamour of London’s fashion scene and the King’s road. Towards the end of his career he began working in Eat Your Heart Out, the trendy London, second hand boutique frequented by new romantics and glam rockers alike. It was here that his career path began to map itself out.
Simon Carter bought a 1930s pewter motorcycle brooch to sell in the shop, but quickly realised the potential behind it. A few weeks later, armed with 100 copies of the brooch, he began trying to sell them on the King’s Rd. He struck gold when Cobra & Bellamy bought 50 brooches.
Ten years later Simon Carter had cornered the cufflink market through iconic designs such as the ‘Aspirin’ cufflinks, which stored tablets within the actual cufflink and the Victorian subversive ranges. Ties, leather goods and a full formal and casual range of men’s clothing followed – all consistently adhering to the core values of the Simon Carter brand.
